Make the offer and the price capture the value you create

Propositions, packaging and pricing that reflect how each buyer gets value.

The challenge

Where pricing and packaging fall behind

  • One model for different buyers.

Segments with different needs and willingness to pay are sold the same way.

  • Discounting replaces positioning.

Without a clear value story, price becomes the lever.

  • Packages built around the product, not the decision.

Buyers cannot see the option that fits them.

  • No way to test changes.

Pricing decisions are made once, in the dark, rather than tested with customers.

Our approach

From value to price

The four GrowthBridge™ parts as they apply to this work: from the commercial question to results your team keeps building on.

  1. Understand the buying decision

How each segment decides, what they compare and what value they recognise.

    OutcomeA value map by segment.

  2. Design propositions and packages

Offers and tiers that match the decision, with a price architecture to carry them.

    OutcomePackages buyers understand.

  3. Set and test prices

Price points, discount rules and a test plan with customers and the sales team.

    OutcomePricing you can defend.

  4. Equip the team

Value messaging, objection handling and the operating rules for discounts.

    OutcomeHigher conversion and healthier margin.

Our difference

Pricing as a commercial lever

  • Media and technology economics.

Subscription, advertising, licensing and software models each have their own pricing logic; we work in all of them.

  • Commercially tested, not theoretical.

Changes are tested with customers and the team before they are rolled out.

  • Sales can sell it.

The packaging is designed with the people who have to explain it.

Questions

Can you help with pricing only?

Yes. Pricing and packaging is often the fastest route to value and can stand alone.

Do you run customer research?

We use existing data first, then targeted customer and sales-team conversations and tests.

How long before pricing changes show results?

It depends on sales cycles and contract terms; the test plan is designed to show early signals.

How does this differ from a standard pricing audit?

The work can include implementing the pricing and packaging changes, not only reviewing them. We connect the proposition, value metric, customer segments and commercial rollout, and agree who will own the changes. Scope and commercial terms are agreed before work begins; there is no standard performance-fee promise.

Can it handle hybrid models like subscriptions + services?

Yes. We examine how subscription, usage, services and other revenue streams fit together, which customers buy each part, and where the offer or value metric becomes confusing. Pricing and packaging are shaped to that business model rather than treated as a single subscription-price exercise.

What if we’re expanding across regions with wild variances?

We look at the economics and buying context of each target market, including currency, customer needs, routes to market and regulatory constraints. The aim is a coherent pricing approach with justified local differences, rather than assuming that one price or package works everywhere.
